Everything and everyone in a community, large, small, lost, found, discarded, or molded with intention has significance. We all become united when brought together through music.
Becca David and Backbeat Harris have been joined by Ceramic Artist Donna Ray and mosaic artist Kellie G. Hoyt at the Midtown Greenway Glowfest.
Our community of musicians have ranged come from around the corner and as far as Farmington, WI.
However, the true artists are the community members and visitors who have taken the time to stop and create art with us and each other.
IMAGE: Girl Scout Plein Aire Painting along the Mononghela River, Greensboro, PA Painting Badge Activity Prior to relocating to Minneapolis in 2016 she has participated in multiple artist residency projects through what is now known as the Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media, Teaching Artist Guild, the PA Arts Education Association (conference presenter). She is currently a member of Art to Change the World, NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts) and an active volunteer for The Art Shoppe at the Midtown Global Market. Her current Projects include #communitytempo, ARFA (Art Resources For All, a pilot project with Art to Change the World, Co-manager with Vicki Olson)

She began her formal education at Edinboro University of PA and completed a BA in Art and BS in Business Administration at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. She has participated in workshops with Brian Kakas, Valda Cox, Jimmy Clark, Val Cushing and most recently completed the MN NICE (MN New Institute for Ceramics Education) under the supervision of Ursula Hargens at the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis.

Community Tempo Artists have been active all over the Twin Cities and Beyond!
Our second year at the Midtown Greenway Glowfest - Music Director Back Beat Harris put out a call through the Minnesota Blues Society and we used social media to promote the event and were not disappointed.
